Reyes Supports Youth Program at Casa de Adobe
Councilmember recently visited the Casa de Adobe in Highland Park to see local eighth graders from Arroyo Seco Museum Science Magnet School bring Spanish Colonial history to life.
The live history tour, in which they portray early 20th Century Angelenos, is a partnership with the Autry National Center. The students educate local elementary youth and visitors about life in the Casa de Adobe. The program also helps improve the eighth graders' public speaking skills and boosts their self-esteem.
