Los Angeles Philharmonic returns to the First District TONIGHT

Los Angeles Philharmonic musicians return to the First District to perform with young artists at a free Neighborhood Chamber Music Concert in the Pico-Union community. The concert takes place at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 9, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 2760 West Pico Blvd. (at Mariposa Ave.). The performance, which includes works by Brahms, Mozart, and Romero, will feature woodwind students of Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) and Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA). The concert is supported by grants from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. Information: (323) 737-3325.
