Vegan Celebrations in Los Angeles

The City's first Vegan Bake Sale at the Los Angeles City Hall Farmers Market was a sweet success. Hundreds of baked goods--ranging from banana bread to brownies to blueberry pie cupcakes-- sold out in less then three hours. The Los Angeles River Keepers benefited from the proceeds and bake sale customers learned that vegan cooking is delicious and nutritious.

Fun vegan events continue throughout Los Angeles, especially in September, with 30 Days of Celebrating Vegan. The events include a potluck in our district on Monday, September 7, Labor Day at 4 p.m. at the Milagro Allegro Community Garden Potluck.
